They're on different nights The nights are vertical not horizontal. Also I've seen Adventure Club a few years back never seen Tiesto tempted to just because of the legend status.

Daft Punk has never really been EDM in the way that a lot of the artists in this thread are. They're more house/electro-house, except for Random Access Memories which was like a mixture of their usual house/electro-house with disco, funk, soul, synthpop, etc.

Justice is probably the closest in terms of trajectory. They went from being mostly electro-house to incorporating more elements of disco and funk and stuff like that the more they went on. If you liked Random Access Memories, you'd probably dig Justice's latest album Woman.

They just put out a remix album in August called Woman Worldwide that's really solid and basically spans their entire discography. Stuff from Woman is on there, but also mashed up with songs they did 10 years ago that are more electro-focused.

I hope this is the right thread / someone can help me / point me to somewhere else that might be better. I am concerned my brother is either being catfished / losing touch with reality / making elaborate lies to me for some reason? We don't live near each other so most conversations I have with him happen over the internet. He's into making his own music, but he's recently claimed he just got signed to a super-secret new record label that's going to totally be the next new thing and is somehow tied to Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, NIN...but they are all using other names!

I'm really concerned he's having a mental issue. I don't want to give out too much personal information because I don't want doxxing to happen. This record label he got signed to is called Delcraft Digital. I haven't had a lot of time to do a deep internet search but nothing is coming up from this.

I Found a Delcraft Digital on beatport and its all super generic music you'd hear in the background of a youtube video. For one thing, Deadmau5 owns his own label Mau5trap and wouldn't need to be on a different name. He's getting scammed. https://www.beatport.com/label/delcraft-digital/65353

Honestly it's probably my favorite album of the year so far :shobon: San Holo's album may dethrone it when it drops later this month, but yeah. I'm really liking Nurture a lot the more time goes by.

e: Not sure if anyone follows theneedledrop, but

https://twitter.com/theneedledrop/status/1388556301354127361

I don't always agree with him and his Nurture review isn't even out yet, but his interviews are interesting. He just did one with Kero Kero Bonito recently.

He gave it an 8/10 (with yellow flannel on which is a signal that he really recommends it) and described it as the "Discovery for this generation" so suffice to say he liked it. He doesn't like EDM/Dance music very much at all generally.
