Good god I can't play EASHL / online modes with the stock settings anymore. It feels soooo loving slow like my dudes are skating in sand. If I bump the speed up a significant amount (and checking) then Threes™ becomes *GASP* almost entertaining

They probably took it out. I remember trying to do it the other night and nyoooope. Also they somehow broke most/all of their same old animations and made the puck physics waaaaay the gently caress weirder. Glad I didn't pay for this poo poo it's noticeably worse than last year

Ones mode and updated threes is kinda fun but it does get a bit annoying that the goalie will play out of his mind on your break aways and then one of the other dudes can just shoot a limp wrist from 30 feet out and it sails right in

first impression: looks like they spent most of their time creating new texture swaps for Chel clothing and the navigation for said menus is even worse and more convoluted. jesus christ there's like 5000 hats now that are all locked, of course, to be randomly doled out via loot bags. Oh it's first to 7 OR time limit. Good job (not) explaining that ea Also the interaction between Not-Doc and Ray Ray is good but, yeah, he's not the best announcer. Still, it's not the worst. The lighting and ice textures have been improved so uhh they got that going for them. In pure, naked buzzword advertising: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAeoWd_ga1w&t=284s They found a way to shoe-horn in MERELY the phrase "Battle Royale Mode" to try and lure the Fortnite'esque crowd when it literally isn't a "battle royale" in the slightest bit. It's just 3 or 6 person matchmade instances (the ones/threes tourneys)

Got it for my birthday in early November. finally loaded it up in mid December realized "gently caress they really didn't change a goddamn thing except make the only fun parts (threes, ones) way way worse" uninstalled it like 2 hours later.
