Have you got a guide you're following at all? Just google 2.6 necro support and look over a few guides that come up. They are all pretty much the same thing. And it's good to know all the different choices you have for gearing, etc, so you can be flexible later if you change your mind based on outside influences - who you are playing with, what the prices on items ends up being, if you get a sick drop, etc etc.. Also, it helps you understand how the patch notes will influence your build, because people are not always that great at updating that poo poo right before a patch hits. With those you are doing 300% weapon damage, add in the fact you can replace dying sun/gmp with a different (albeit worse) damage option, and you have an amazing single target option for the price. Barrage still wins once you start spending real money but shrapnel can do all content at a fraction of the investment. I did a shrapnel doomfletch or something a couple leagues back and it *felt* really good to play too.

Alright boys, last league I tried to do the opposite of what I normally do. Instead of bumrushing uberlab carries on day2, and then poopsocking the first week and trying to get rich that way, I decided to take a casual 2 weeks to get to lvl 55 and find drop a mirror. I'm thinking of going with strategy number two again this time around...

So you can't respec ascendancy, but can you respec within your chosen ascendancy?

Don't think you have to go to altar to just respec within your own class...I just wasn't sure if it was allowed/how they wen't about disabling ascendancy respec. I'm pretty sure you only need the altar to respec your class, which you can't do in the event.

Blight league reward mechanic. splash those vials (dropped during blights) on an amulet through the blight NPC to allocate that passive when that amulet is worn
