Congratulations. I'm getting married in December although I've just started defaulting to saying wife. We're having a full on Christmas wedding including a red tuxedo.

I honestly really loved the marriages as a kid. They were these clear milestones of mythology in my head. Death obviously didn't mean anything, but marriage and kids did feel like it stuck and establishes a history for both DC and Marvel.

Bendis was originally going to do Ultimate X-men as more of a teen oriented book which I think would have probably rivaled USM.
