I find it hard to believe logging is going to be automated completely. Sure, the advent of bigger and better logging equipment has heavily reduced man power requirements but the real life challenges of cutting down trees in remote areas are huge and will require very advanced robotics/AI in the future to replace human workers. At least in my lifetime.
