That's the beautiful thing about the name. If it was in Greek, it'd be Μεγάλη Ἑλλάς, latinised as Megálē Hellás. It's the Latin name for the area, thus providing linguistic and cultural ties to both groups, as well as a common deep history. It's perfect!
