Goons, if you're suggesting something completely against the OP's checklist, please explain why. OP, Have you ever done an engine swap? Even if the engine is plug-and-play with the chassis (it's most likely not that easy), it's one of those things where you carefully map out the cost and timeframe, then double the cost and quadruple the timeframe. I'd get it set up as a camper before you go engine swapping. E: looks like you want to pay someone to do it. I guarantee that will cost way more than the engine does. There's not very many companies out there that will do such a thing, even if it's a well-documented process. The ones that do command a premium. Suspension is tuned for a particular weight, and if you're adding to that weight with a bunch of modifications, you risk upsetting the tuned damping of the system. Same deal for brakes and increased momentum to change.
