Apparently the VAR systems were hosed up for multiple Bundesliga matches today. Given the state of some of the Serie A stadiums I'll bet there are some problems at some point this year.

The interesting part of VAR is there are strict guidelines for the italian TV broadcasts; during the decisionmaking, no replays are allowed to be shown but the feed must remain live on the pitch / at the VAR booth; after a decision is made, only the replay angle that was used for the ruling can be shown (once); and any other angles can be shown only during breaks in the match (a goal kick, a throw in etc.) As an aside, this VAR decision took roughly 1 minute. Also good goal Dybala.
