and then seemingly out of nowhere, final burn showed up and dumped playable versions of the entire cps2 library in our laps i remember being more impressed with the story about how they got the encryption keys off the board than with the games

the set of all people able to obey copyright law, run a business and monetize a product over here the set of all people able to write a playable "emulator" that might not emulate so much as kludge and hack its way to decent framerates over there everyone who just wants to understand how that old poo poo worked well enough to make their computer run the same instructions it did, you can just leave cause what you want isn't important
