i remember finding a really old snes emulator back in the day (vsmc?) that ran something like 3 games at 2 fps with no sound and the developer wanted something ridiculous like $30 in mid-90s money to unlock it so that didn't stop after 3 minutes. come to think of it, a lot of those old terrible emulators were shareware and pretty expensive considering that they barely workedThanks Ants posted:when did the n64 emulators come out that only worked right on glide? remember playing mario with an n64 pad hooked up through some weird converter to a game port. iirc one of the more popular n64 video plugins as of a few years ago was still being developed for glide because the developer was a basement dwelling turbo sperg who apparently couldn't afford a video card made after 1999
