He was great. Told the sports science undergrads to gently caress off with their advice, sat in his car smoking during rainy training sessions, and when his plans didn't work he'd come with something different in the next game.

Let down by a board that buys badly and wanted an American poster boy in charge.

Given how Jenkins went about sacking him it'd take one hell of a bouquet.

I feel like this is true of a lot of clubs who sack a manager purely to get 'their man' in then it turns out their man is shite.

If you're not striving to improve, you'll end up going backwards.
Liverpool won, which was cool.

The manner in which they won was not so cool, but Leicester have been a real problem team for them in the last 2 seasons so its probably a good result.

Migs has saved us twice this season now with decent penalty saves. But holy poo poo we need to sort out our defenders badly

Yeah its one of those penalties that if you get it right and the keeper pre-empts the dive you look like a genius, but if you do it over and over the keepers are not going to bite so you look like a dumbass.

Which Vardy is.....

i think sergio aguero buying someone a new car would be like a regular person dropping £15 on a taxi.

Gotta love Jose. When Pogba got injured the press were reporting very shortly that he'd be out for a few months probably. Mourinho immediately rubbished the claims and said it'd be a matter of "12 days, not 12 weeks". Now he's come out to say Pogba will probably be out until November and possibly even more. Why even bother with the whole charade?

Also in news that will surprise absolutely nobody nowhere ever, Phil Jones is injured.

Traveling in anything other than their personal chauffeur driven car with a very trusted, discreet, well paid driver is madness.

Especially when you're on a night out somewhere and might drink.
