Maybe it's a bit of both- Nakano can get the basic gist of what someone's imagining, but not the specifics. So dude's really thinking lewd thoughts, and Nakano might even pick up 'nurse uniform', but she can't see the colour of said uniform, how many buttons are loose etc.

I did the same thing. Also before this I had only really just "heard of" max Payne, didn't even know it was a comic.
At any rate. Ty all

Max Payne is a video game trilogy, where the story in the first two games was told in comic-book styled panels (not sure about the thrid, never played it).

Wild guess: The manager's a telepath too- that's why Mana can't read the reason he wants to see her :tinfoil:

service work is surprisingly perfect for aya. aya is never going to be devious or skilled enough to manipulate people. but in a shop people think about what they want and then she gives it to them. no analysis required. that's pretty much how the interview worked, too.

Just as long as they don't move her to phone sales or promote her into managerial duties. I do think Aya should move into selling high-end stuff on commission, myself- just sell sports cars to rich idiots while selling them the bits and bobs they're looking for.

BUT I WANTED TO SEE TODA SMILE IRL

So bittersweet to see this end, and I'm honestly kind of unsatisfied that Aya didn't tell Toda she was telepathic and all that; the fallout from the revelation would've been interesting to see. That said, it's really good to see these two dorkasauruses get their happy end :3:
