Yeah lots of people are getting engaged and maybe we can beat back the proto-fascist demented cheeto but the Democratic establishment is a million times more effective at crushing any kind of leftward movement and progressive change than it is at getting elected. Medicare Extra is exactly what the country has to look forward to on a good outcome of Trump. If things get lovely there will be multiple more Federalist Society toadies in the Supreme Court willing to eviscerate the country and then a not-incompetent strongman leader will burn democracy at the stake next time around and a huge portion of the nation will celebrate about it because nothing got done any other way.
