I saw a big post the other day listing off a bunch of ship names of navy vessels headed towards the caribbean as of Saturday and for some reason one still in port in Norfolk thus definitively proving that anyone complaining about not having water or power or food is a fake news liberal media demoncrat

But this is all dependent on being able to get those resources in a short amount of time. Here in Florida it was a huge mess leading up to Irma so I imagine it would be even harder in Puerto Rico.

recon already scheduled for 1800Z. This is in a zone that could RI hard and catch people off guard with landfall times already within the 5 day range.

00z runs pretty universally indicate that something will be in the SE GoM in a few days. Main question will be how much land interaction and how strong the ridge near FL builds. This is the season that never ends.

Nate fuckin zoomed across the gulf and is already making landfall as a borderline cat1/2 by NOLA given how fast it's going ideally there won't be much damage

still. Nate was too fast to dump major rains and New Orleans pump network easily kept up with this one. I guess Nate's storm surge was the only real problem.

Yeah although the MS coastal casinos are right on the beach so them flooding out is really no surprise whatsoever. Nate was moving too fast to get its poo poo together although it sure tried as hard as it could along the way.
