This is good, thanks. It's not that common I come across good things I haven't already read (that aren't ongoing, at least).

edit: The cultural differences between the way death is addressed are kinda interesting. Stuff that takes a "it's literally The End and you gotta make peace with that" approach aren't very common in Western culture.

I've never really been a big fan of Saikano, because it's basically the tragedy version of a horror movie with a bunch of jump scares and cringe-inducing violence. It's definitely sad, but in a way that feels manipulative and doesn't really make me feel like I gained anything from the experience.
