The new dirty jokes show is basically Seitokai Yakuindomo, but without Hata so not as good.

Maybe it's a heartwarming tale of a pair of siblings supporting each other and moving on in life after the untimely deaths of their parents by truck/bloodcough disease/the super cold.

You can make 99% of proper cocktails at home, you just need to own a handful of common spirits and mixers. Just adding milk to whisky or Kahlua isn't making cocktails. :v:

The only cocktail you really need is drinking bourbon straight (from the bottle).

Which I don't do any more.

Recovery of an MMO Junkie/Recommendation of the Virtual World had a pretty good first episode. There were a few wierd pacing moments in how it skipped ahead. And the virtual world is super-generic but I guess that's kinda the point.

Where does the protagonist fall in the spectrum of had just given up/lost generation" vs "is actually just a terrible and incompetent person"? I assume it is at least more positive than Watamote.

Hidamari Post Apocalypse's first episode was good, and I'm interested to see where they go with it since they'll probably blow through the chapters that have been released so far really quickly. I'm also a little torn between wanting the setting somewhat explained, like the hugely built up city they're in despite WWII engineering, and that being completely irrelevant.

This week's episode wasn't alcoholic, it was just mixing together whatever fruit juices you have in the refrigerator.

I'm assuming that's kind of the idea. Simple recipes using stuff you may already have for people new to it so that you only need to get the booze.

The dark secret of cocktails is that for most people the recipe hardly matters, particularly if your recipe is bourbon + bourbon.

Even if you do go to amazon's service it's a chore to find stuff through browsing rather than a straight up search by title, so shows are even less likely to be seen by random people.

Basically it's going to suck when amazon has a monopoly on everything in a few years.
