Russell Westbrook puts up gaudy, empty lines a lot. He'll get you some steals but no blocks, just occassional 3's, ok to bad shooting percentages sometimes, and a poo poo ton of turnovers. Same with with Blake. I just 5-4'd Deimos the other week even though I crushed him in every statistical category. His team just had a way better FG/FT% and turnover rate, plus he snuck in some extra 3's to beat me 55-52 even though I beat him on points 700-535. If you only pay attention to pts, rebounds, and assists chances are your teams not going to do that great.

Yeah I've made defensive stats a priority, especially steals. Originally I tried to make FG% a priority over 3s, but it just happens that my team is too inconsistent on the shooting, I don't have many good big men besides Dre. So I tried to make trades to punt TOs and not necessarily punt but not care about FG%.

I had a first earlier this week when I dropped Tim Hardaway Jr. after he hobbled off because I had way too many injured dudes and he'd been shooting like 10%, but then after seeing the Porzingis injury and reading he wouldn't miss any time I successfully grabbed him from myself on waivers.MOVIE MAJICK posted:Is there a stat for player who has been waived and picked up the most in our league? it's crazy to think that there's only 3 weeks before fantasy playoffs start. I'm really not happy with Butler potentially being out the rest of the way but I'm actually somewhat confident in my teams. for now

Eh Rod B's team and Hoiball are both pretty strong, although Hoiball is riding otherworldly Davis play right now. I'd be in first if I didn't make so many horrendous trades including probably this upcoming one if Harden ends up not getting sat in the playoffs.

Yeah, I’m solidly top 5, but I definitely don’t have even close to the best team. Mostly gotten lucky with matchups, and I can recall losing 4-5 categories through the year just from forgetting to put guys in.

Just want to ask unless I'm being dumb here - there's no way Paul Millsap plays on both sides of the Nuggets back to back set on Friday/Saturday, right? I'm going to activate him and dump Tomas Satoransky sometime in the next week or so but I was wondering whether to make the move after tonight's game or wait until after Sunday - I'm thinking wait since two Satoransky games should be better than one minutes-limited Millsap one.

Basically having Harden just wins the week automatically. I had to trade him though because despite being an insane bucket getter and all around stat's man, my entire team has almost completely died on the boards and blocks front. My one chance at the chip is to rebuild to a FG%/Boards/Blocks/TO team. It's so risky but gently caress it, 20 bucks.

i have added Swaggy P to my team. On the one hand he's starting and since Steph and Klay are out he's definitely a high volume shooter but on the other hand i have added Swaggy P to my team. this is terrifying
