I think that can be partially explained away by being ahead of weaker sides chasing games. More than just that of course, but probably has something to do with it.

For example, Spurs in their last 10 last season had 8. For the most part it was teams that they were beating pretty easily, with the exception of the Swansea game, where the last goals ended up being a difference.
