Looks like they've sped up removing inactives to every hour now, so that should help clear things out for anyone else that wants to join. They currently have a bug that's preventing people from joining but they're working on it now.

yeah i stopped playing because the game required a bit too much checking in on, its too idle to play fully but not idle enough to play as a check in once in awhile game. I found it in a weird spot.
