Upping the amount of peralta dead face reactions this season was a good choice.

Dianne yeast is still the best scene of the entire series.

The one that still makes me snicker to myself is when Holt is describing the gang as various iterations of haybrains, only for Rosa to counter "my brains aren't made of hay; my brains are made of brains" and he has to pause for a beat before weakly muttering "a perfect retort."

My theory is that Jake will quit to be a stay at home dad, but also work part time with Rosa. Jake has to force Boyle to not quit and lose his benefits/pension. Terry becomes a captain in 5 years. Scully becomes comissioner because he is a white guy.

Agreed. This season hasn’t been one of the strongest but that was an excellent ending to the show. Fun, crazy, sentimental and a great reminder of all the stuff you love about B99.

stop staring at me

I think this is the longest-running show that I've followed from start to end. Really happy that they were able to give it a proper send-off (and what a send-off it was!), and Holt's comment about Jake being like a son had me tearing up. There was a lot of fan service, but all entirely deserved—this was about as good a victory lap as I could've asked for. I don't expect them to actually produce any heist specials in the future, but it was a sweet note to end on nonetheless, letting you know that these people are all still in each other's lives :unsmith:

The part with "have we ever been to the Brooklyn Bridge?" and then cutting to the credits for a second was great.

Solid B+ ending - nothing superlative but a fun ending to an awesome show. Final season was mixed and really stumbled both trying to engage with and avoid the current state of things (eventually having it just be “a reform bill we know nothing about the details of passes, this is a victory, just trust us” was pretty lame imo although it at least served for solid finale setup), but it did go out well. And yes it is funny to realise how little I missed Gina every time she showed up
