Unrelated, but casual (mostly EU afaik) has been flooded with bots lately. They enter servers in groups, have no profile pictures and usually all play the same class. They�re easy to fight against since their AI is pretty rudimentary - the issue is that they will vote kick everyone on their team (even people who are still connecting) and report them, which has been leading to people getting matchmaking bans in some cases. Some guy on my friends list is banned for two whole months because of this.

TF2!

So that�s what is going on, I just assumed it was some �friendly� bullshit.

Better question / observation - people apparently keep an eye on the market just to catch anyone trying to sell a bunch of keys at once and scam them.

Only takes one person to fall for it to make it profitable, so long as people keep trying to circumvent the official trading system these vultures will keep circling

Previously you could easily tell when someone was a scammer because their backpack was private but now they�ve started going public with a bunch of glitched unusuals to appear legit. Small investment high return I imagine 😕

Trade confirmations are bugged, when you press confirm it registers but doesn�t actually tell you so. On iPhone I just swipe up to refresh the page and it�ll clear itself

Possibly the worst moment of my TF2 career yesterday... I turned down my mouse sens to be more in line with other games and found out that I can no longer rocketjump :gonk:

It was horrible, like I had forgotten how to walk, even the most basic jumps I was loving up I guess because the flicks were slower? At least I have an excuse to play more TF2 now

Scout gameplay for me is focused 50% on dodging and 50% on actually landing shots so I feel like I miss more than I should at the expense of dying less. His speed makes it a lot harder to line up shots than the slower shotgun classes too, a scout should always be moving whereas a soldier could probably stop and tank a few hits while they line up some meat shots

I haven�t ventured off Uncle Dane�s community servers for months, obviously it�s harder to play a specific map outside of the normal rotation but if you can live with no crits/fixed spread, an absence of bots and a slightly higher skill level I recommend them
