Will Duras get pissed and leave if I join the Outlaws? Because that's what I want to do.

 If anyone is having trouble, get yourself a flamethrower. You can either buy it from the Cleric's main city or get a free one in Tavar by starting the main quest "The Big Bang" by talking to the Duke, and then going to the nearest marker to The Fort, jetpack in and grab the flamethrower before the rippers get you. Then you can buy fuel for it for 1c a pop from the main Cleric city, put it on fireball mode. It does decent damage, and a DOT, but most importantly, it knocks enemies down with each hit.
