Just curious but would you be open to plugging in a separate keyboard? Thinkpad does sell a version of their keyboards separately that you can use over USB. Not sure if there's a wireless version.

Is it easy to swap the OS on a chromebook to something else? I'd be tempted to try out Ubuntu on that.
