To be fair they weren't really paying for Brock Osweiler, they were just buying a draft pick.

He is going to open up his own Auntie Anne's franchise. The only yards he'll be producing are yards of sweet sweet pretzel dough.

Ha, that makes sense. I never thought it was realistically possible for the Eagles to get Megaton onto the roster--not enough space and too much poo poo would have had to happen to make it work. But it would have been fun to see!

I don’t know if they can afford it. I believe the Dolphins would still be on the hook for the guaranteed money and it’s still not even feasible to cut him until 2019 so I doubt they could trade him either.

But I would be a-ok with it, if the cap works.

Gase is serious here. And trading a player from the Dolphins clearly demonstrates the need to work hard and play hard or else risk banishment to a team like the Eagles.

Well Philly should be loading up on as many quality backups they can get for the playoff run. Going to hilariously backfire but whatever you can trade them away in the offseason.

Yeah for a long time the logic was "draft picks are gold, never trade them except for other draft picks" but I think the logic has gotten too extreme. A 2nd for a potential starting QB is a steal. A 4th for an RB who is proven but has injury question marks is a better return than the typical 4th round pick gets.

On Cleveland, word is the offered a "second plus change" in the offseason, not the first, and there are murmurs its somewhat of a favor to Garoppolo and his agent, Don Yee (also Brady's) not to stick him there.

That my team, always doing favors for their players.

I'm pretty sure if Belichick could have gotten more they could have shipped him to ISIS for all he cares.

Blitz pickup is the bigger issue. Smallwood is just too small to take on blitzers (Darren Sproles didn't give him his magic feather, apparently) and Blount isn't on the field on third down.

That's a nice set of 11 dynasty points there, it would be a shame if 3 rings were to happen with it

Also Beathard is still the starter for week nine.

Their bye is week eleven.

It's entirely possible they traded a second for six games lmbo
