I canceled MTOD a while back but you got me curious, what did they put it on?

I had been eyeing their tundra kit, its something like a 150hp gain.

Lucky Costa's Chevelle with a 6.0 LS in it.

The problem I have is that with my particular combination of parts (small bore LS1 and F-body accessory drive) I actually have pretty much no out-of-the-box options for a supercharger. The small bore block means I can't swap on square-port heads, the F-body accessory drive means the only "complete" kits out there are long out of production and absurdly expensive. Expensive enough that I could buy an entire LS3 longblock for less.

The closest thing to a solution is to get one of the factory LS superchargers (LS9, LSA) and fuel rails, a set of square-to-cathedral port adapters, a drive-by-cable throttle body (and throttle cable adapter), and a custom accessory drive to either work with the F-body parts or replace everything with Corvette parts. Yet there seems to be very little in the way of "complete" documentation on pulling this off.

Bu-bu-but my aluminum block! :qq:

It's not like I have the money to pull it off. I could possibly sell my LS1 longblock for enough to do a decent 6.0/6.2 longblock build, but I'd still want to have the money to build the new engine first. Which would be about the money to do a LSA blower. Odds are if I do anything it'll be the Dorman LS2 intake, a cam with valvesprings, maybe some longtubes, and a tune.

One of my accounts I intentionally didn't even activate the debit cards for because it's not one I'll ever pull cash out of on a whim. The other two I only use to deposit and/or withdraw cash.

Guac on a burg just doesn't do it for me.

Personally, I don't think Smashburger is all that special.

Five Guys isn't bad but I don't get the hype. Way too greasy.

I love how he quickly bemoans automotive emissions and safety regulation as "Hobbling automotive performance".

At least at the end he acknowledges the changes made a good impact.

I thought it was pretty fair, and it mirrored my own process on it. Growing up reading car mags it's easy to just eat up what they say.

And all of that safety / emissions regulation did hurt the industry pretty hard at first. It took them a long time to engineer out of that hole.

I too had a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat, but thankfully I have no need to load a VW bus with shovels and axes and implements of destruction and garbage.

Also the route to my grandma's place, where we used to go for Thanksgiving, has a dump along the way. Always closed on Thanksgiving.

We got a turkey from the local god-tier barbecue shop. They sold out their pre orders in five days around Halloween. Took another 45 minutes of waiting on Thanksgiving itself since they weren't quite warming up in the smokers as fast as expected, so it literally was straight from smoker to car to table to stuffing all of our faces.

It was amazing. Hell, my kid wanted leftovers from it two nights in a row.

I will never know enough of the dark arts of smoking to replicate this myself, but I will gladly throw some money at a local business who does it better than I can ever hope to.

They go full petcock spatchcock with it. I only ended up with a little of the dark meat myself and it was incredible.
