Bike Snout is apparently a GM's wet dream because he's been DFA'd twice and THEN signed to a year-long extension, and has been used as a utility AAAA player for like three years. And somehow his Eye is getting worse leading into his "prime". He put up a better WAR than a sizable portion of the Jays (with a whopping 0.4, but god knows how much moving from position to position all year helped/hurt) but still isn't in either RHP or LHP lineup.

Thankfully the GM and several manager/coaches got shitcanned in a division-last performance, so let's see what happens next year, I guess. Maybe Toronto will get some pitching, since their best qualifying pitcher had an ERA way north of 4.00. Who even knows anymore. Embrace the rebuild, Bike "Terrorist" Snout.

He then signed a 1.36 mil contract with Detroit.

This marks the 7th organization he has pitched for in 3 years.

He slashed .273/.320/.473 for a .794 OPS his first full season with the Cardinals. He's developed a bit more power, javelining 23 dogs well losing some base running speed only swiping 32 bags. Overall a very solid SS commiting only 8 errors across 138 games with a .986 fielding percentage.

The AL Central is such a dumpster fire and it just feels appropriate that Tempus will never escape it. He got his second taste of postseason play and it went just as badly for the .500 Tigers as his original attempt with the White Sox.

At least he's back to hitting decently and with the AL having the DH again, he has a place to hit when he ages in the worst way possible. Maybe he'll actually earn his $32.5M a year at some point.

Welp. Bobson's stuff regressed fairly significantly and he was promptly shelled: 5.01 ERA with only 19 saves in 55 games. Walk rate spiked again too and now he's over 3 BB/9. Then to top it off he had a partial labrum tear and missed all of September. So naturally the Rays are paying him $11.1m in arb next year.

Bike Snout was immediately DfA'd out of spring training (again) by the Jays, passed on by everyone, and assigned to AAA, where he put up a decent-but-not-stellar year at Buffalo and helped them with a short playoff run. He also strained his PCL and was non-tendered. This may be the end of the road for Mr. Snout unless he moves to Korea and becomes some superhuman baseballman. Or is just a career AAA guy.

RIP Bike Snout, broken by horrible management by the Barves (probably).

I think it might be the end of the road for Dugnutt. His stuff, movement, and control numbers all fell off a cliff this year, his fastball has somehow regressed from a 2/10 to a 1/10, and he put up a 9.74 ERA with a 2.02 WHIP in 32.1 IP, posting a sweet -0.4 WAR. He's officially a free agent now, and I'm curious to see if anybody tries their luck at picking him up on a reclamation deal. Even then though I think the grand changeup experiment has come to an end.

Would you be willing to add a new player? If so I'll knock another guy together. If not though it's no big deal.
