This is the thread to post about how not bad anime is. Anime is definitely not terrible! It's totally for normal people and not for twitter nazis and tankies. Post here about how you don't hate anime and don't think it's the best argument for why nuking Japan was a mistake. Permissible topics of conversation include:

- why it's ok for anime to feature relationships between children and adults as long as the child is actually a 4000-year old demon
- why excessive voiceover exposition is totally good and useful
- how relying on stereotypical facial expressions and stock character types actually opens up deep storytelling possibilities and is not meant to help brokebrains understand what's going on
- how anime is the perfect medium for expressing trumpism b/c it's all style no substance and why that's a good thing

Also to whomever was posting about Firefly, really overrated show. Would have totally watched a show about the Alliance Captain from the second episode who has to deal with Mal and his crew illegal salvage operations. Really Mal and his crew are a bunch of lovely Ferengi.
