What I'm saying is that with enough skill and coordination you will 100% be able to beat a team of solo queue players who have been playing the game casually for 5 months no mater what champs are in play, and therefore it's not decided at champ select you just need to Get Good granted if you too are a solo queue player whose been playing the game casually for 5 months then yes obviously there may be an upper limit of your ability to win a given game if you're at enough of a disadvantage, but that's user error rather than a fault of the mode and arguably something true of summoner's rift games as well

Yeah tahm kench has easy mechanics but he also has the single highest capacity to gently caress over his own team of any champ in the game, and that's done by doing the exact same stuff you have to do to play him well Basically if you can't read teamfights etc really well as (support) kench you're at best an otherwise useless wall of hp and at worst making your team fight a 4v6 Monicro fucked around with this message at 02:33 on Jan 15, 2018 |

I dunno if it's a bug or what but I realized last night Swain's E counts for 2 hits for electrocute which is really really good for mid swain. It's somewhat useless lategame but getting outranged by every midlaner is a lot more manageable when your basic combo is good for a third of their health

This is apropos of absolutely nothing but I keep thinking about one of the zoe nerfs this patch namely her getting a partial reset on her bubble whenever she slept someone, and the more I think about it the more I lose my mind at how nonsensical and obviously awful that passive was in the first place Like a burst mage's catch ability having a (partial) reset is obviously silly for reasons that I'm sure I don't need to explain to all of you, but like look at other burst mages in the game, even ones that have been around in mostly the same state for ages. Lux, Veigar, Ahri, Brand etc all have high cooldown, usually-single-target catch abilities, it's a time tested and established way to keep burst mages strong in the way they're supposed to be strong. God help me I'm playing this video game again for the first time in a few months and after 2 years of being a mid/adc shitlord I can't stop playing Sion top. I always got annoyed at my silver/gold teams ARAMing constantly while at the same time not being able to actually do anything about it with whatever immobile teamfighter i was playing, playing a champion built to live in a sidelane and be barely contestable when the other team even realizes I exist is so cathartic and freeing
