An amazing show. It's the closest you get to a "perfect" show. Though I did grow up watching it, so I am certainly biased by nostalgia. But no, I watch it now and I pick up on stuff I never even imagined as a kid. And reading about Korea, in especially in light of recent events, wow. My favourite episode is the Christmas one where Winchester gives chocolates to the orphanage, and the guy sells them on the black market to buy food for the kids. And Winchester confronts him and Klinger overhears and then later they have a moment.

when I was in high school it was on TV all the time. Between reruns on TVLand and Hallmark Channel I was watching 4 hours of MASH every day. That's what I did instead of talking to girls and I think I made the right choice.

The theme song was written by the producer's 14 year old kid. gently caress I don't recall being that melancholic (or talented) in my awkward teen years. Also I caught the final episode at my dorm, big party with camo netting and all. I read that many city sewers got overloaded during the commercial breaks.

Through early morning fog I see Visions of the things to be The pains that are withheld for me I realize and I can see That suicide is painless It brings on many changes I can take or leave it if I please That game of life is hard to play I'm gonna lose it anyway The losing card of some delay So this is all I have to say That suicide is painless It brings on many changes I can take or leave it if I please The sword of time will pierce our skin It doesn't hurt when it begins But as it works its way on in The pain grows stronger, watch it burn That suicide is painless It brings on many changes And I can take or leave it if I please A brave man once requested me To answer questions that are key Is it to be or not to be And I replied oh why ask me That suicide is painless It brings on many changes And I can take or leave it if I... That suicide is painless It brings on many changes I can take or leave it if I please That suicide is painless It brings on many changes And you can do the same thing if you please

Sounds like it's overdue for an action packed remake feat Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

The movie is good. It's kind of depressing in a weird way, like "We're stuck in a war and we're gonna bum around to pass the time." Very, very Robert Altman, who made two other movies that I think are even better.. McCabe and Mrs. Miller is a western that feels like M*A*S*H*. The Long Goodbye is a film noir that feels like M*A*S*H*.
