Because Bill Shorten is so generic I reckon Turnbull could Labor lite it back to 50-50 by just middle fingering the right faction into 2018.

Members of the LNP are publicly assessing Tim Nicholls' leadership and questioning the long-term viability of opposing asset sales, as Queensland's post-election political limbo continues. What if asset sales are actually good and Queenslanders are just idiots ponders the LNP.

"Sooner or later, Queenslanders are going to have to face up to the fact that they need to pay off the bank card," he said. "We either keep printing money and you can't do that. Or in my view, you offload some of the assets that you've got that you don't necessarily need to be in public hands anymore, so that you can invest back into new assets that do need government help to kickstart. "It's like the family silver." "You just don't hold onto these things forever. Time comes to offload some of these things and at some stage in the future, the Queensland people are going to have to have that debate and maybe have a change of mind."

I've been using my PC and HDMI cable to the TV for years. I only watch the 6 on clock news when something particularly interesting happens Like an election and Antony Green is vibrating about swings Or a leadership spill with a sweating Joe Hockey on the panel. TV is only good for watching politics explode.

The flagship ABC radio current affairs programs PM and The World Today will be halved in length next year and Business PM will be axed. Staff have been told the shortened formats will "leave the audience wanting more". I see that the heads at the ABC have seen the popular comic book The Phantom successfully cut into 4 panels and decided that if you make a show half of the time people will come back wanting more! Genius, why aren't all shows just 60 seconds then?

I notice Amazon Australia is up and I see virtually no savings on this thing. Most of the prices are number to number exactly the same as JB-Hi-fi and in some cases even more expensive than actual retailers. I suppose the treat is discount days and coupon codes but with Aussie retailers importing Black Friday and Cyber Monday, is the Amazon launch really as apocalyptic as people said it was going to be for retail?

Yeah but any good shooper can just pricematch most of this poo poo down to parity.

# ¿ Dec 5, 2017 03:46 |

What I mean is any shopper that doesnt pricematch wouldn't take advantage of a fully deployed amazon with coupons and all. Amazon's market at the moment is to net all the bargain hunters and every shitshop and its mom offers free shipping under certain conditions these days. Doing price parity and sitting back probably won't win hearts and minds. I just feel they haven't done enough at this launch. It's not the tidal wave people were expecting.

After acting as MC at two Milo Yiannopoulos events, Andrew Bolt says some of the things the far-right provocateur had to say were “terrible” and he considered walking out. Speaking to Steve Price on 3AW last night Bolt said he found Yiannopoulos to be a different person onstage and off. “He’s got some good things to say about gender politics and free speech,” he said. “I thought some of the rudeness, the vitriol, was nasty and I didn’t like it. “He said Muslim asylum seekers were skilled at only a few things, including raping women. “I thought those things were terrible, dreadful.” “First I thought, do I walk out?” Bolt said. But he said he decided to stay and go onstage to confront Yiannopoulos about his views.
