That sounds great. I'm a mandolin beginner. Instruction on how to practice, which is what it sounds like you're proposing, would be something I'd definitely follow.

This has been (one of) my biggest problems trying to learn the guitar. I have no idea how to practice. I just spend my time playing through old exercises in an attempt to not forget them, and then try to learn the next exercise in the book. I don't think I've made any progress this way in the past two years.
