The loving tango between Garrus and Shepard is ridiculous. It feels something straight out of a fanfic and in this case that's a good thing. Also, hey, new animations! Good job Bioware.

We party down And here we have the end of the DLC, the game, and the trilogy. All our friends come over for a raging kegger. I pretty much just stay out of the way here. If you go with a subdued party it's (imo) not as fun, though there are some really funny bits as well - one of my favorites just being Wrex, Grunt, and Shepard going "Wrex." "Shepard." "Shepard." "Grunt." for as long as you care to keep it up. Everyone is much better shitfaced. But I'm sure you can find the subdued party somewhere on YT if you care to look. Also someone did a FailShep one where there were only like 3 people at the party. Sad but also hilarious. I'll let you guys do the talking and just chime in with my own thoughts - though I will say this seems like a good and proper sendoff to the series instead of grimdark bullshit. Raise a glass one and all for Shepard and crew. I've enjoyed the hell out of this but I'm also really really glad it's done. Gonna take some time off before deciding what to do next and maybe let it cool down a little so I don't pass out trying to do commentary  For everyone who's stuck around through all this crazy bullshit, got drunk, suffered bad jokes (both the game's and mine)...thanks. I should go.

Thanks for this. I got Mass Effect 2 for free when DA2 turned out to be such a shitshow, and I got ME1 on sale for like sub 10 bucks, but I dunno if I had it in me to finish the entire trilogy. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through Butts, our great hero. You did an amazing job and I loved every minute of this. Goddesspeed to you, Butts Shepard!

drat it, I'm not ready for it to be over.  For real though, thanks so much for LPing this SubponticatePoster! It's been a blast since ME2 when I first caught sight of your planned LP trilogy, and it's definitely going to be one of the LPs I keep going back to from time to time. Can't wait to see what you do next!

Y’all are very nice. I’m glad people have enjoyed the LP’s. I went back and reread the first couple of pages of the ME1 LP and seeing “yeah sure I’ll do the trilogy” post... boy what was I thinking? Well it’s done. Whenever I get ‘round to doing something new I’ll try to remember to post a link in the new LP thread. For now I’m gonna wallow in the satisfaction of having birthed three very ugly, stupid triplets with drinking problems.

It's kind of funny to think about but I don't think it would have been possible to get the best kind of epilogue in Citadel without the... not very good epilogue in ME3. Or without the rest of the series really - you can't have (good) fan service without fans in the first place - but details. If something like Citadel has been the original ending it would have been perplexing to say the least but as a reaction to the reaction to the ending, apology for the ending, reconciliation with the fans, or whatever lens you want to view it through, Citadel couldn't have come off better  Thanks for going through it all.
