Sexologists are the people who are in charge of managing our transition and this is how they see us. telling your doc that you are attracted to people of same gender as you are/want to be nearly always makes them see you as a straight and confused especially if you never been in relationship, yea who gives a poo poo that i have never had someone because i dont want to be a loving man in the relationship. I have yet to meet somebody who would ask me how to refer to me after calling me “ma’am” and being confused of my voice while responding, they always just apologise and call me “sir”. hey i know we live in the same country so i just wanna say this really put my experiences in words. hell my own sexologist-in-charge decided to deny me an approval letter to the court after two years of transition when i said i don't really care for genital reassignment surgery, because that makes me "transgender instead of transsexual" and he'd have to write it down and then the court will refuse my application! but hey maybe i can change my mind in a year or so! then i went to a different sexologist and slid him an equivalent of a thousand dollars and he sorted it all out
