I'd like to add Tiger Meat, a food very near and dear to South Dakotans. Possilbe TMI for those undertaking the challenge: I will add that foodsafety.gov has a blog post specifically dedicated to telling people not to prepare and consume tiger meat.

Very probably. I think it extends into Minnesota and North Dakota too. Wikipedia says Wisconsin too, and that it's a German thing.

Yeah, a real prairie fire is basically just a 21st birthday shot, so warm rail liquor is pretty appropriate. I usually see it as cheap tequila with a bunch of tabasco.

I love seeing the Jucy Lucy (yes it's spelled that way). The real deal is a cheeseburger, but the the cheese inside the patty (preferably with pickles and minced sauteed onions), invented at Matt's Bar in Minneapolis and I will not believe otherwise.
