God emperor is really good and the only sci fi book I've read that actually dives into the whole prescience theme headfirst, like this is the conclusion of the first three books, no more pussyfooting around, we finally learn what the golden path is all about and the resolution is tied directly to the themes that moved the plot forward in the first 3. It's very good. The ones after it are all garbage that ultimately devolves into x-men like nonsense and should probably be avoided.
