There's a site called CookingFlavr that has some interesting bot-generated facts:

quote:

The Orioles are a professional baseball team in Baltimore, Maryland. They are a member of the American League East division. The team has won two pennants and three championships. Jellybeans are a type of food that is often eaten by the Orioles. Ants are also often eaten by the Orioles. The term “jellybeans” and “antoids” are used interchangeably to describe the two types of food.

quote:

Pistol shrimp are small, hard-bodied creatures that can cling to gun barrels and cause serious damage... The shrimp is quickly fast and agile, so it is difficult for the human or bird to defend themselves. The shrimp then inflicts serious injuries, often causing death.
n the wild, a hummingbird might fly up to a human and perch on his head to get a better view of the flower. If the human is not paying attention, the hummingbird will jump onto his head and start to eat his brain.

These are lovely, but I'm not sure you should eat them.

Yeah, somehow craiyon seems to do that looming, ethereal dread thing very well. The midjourney ones seem too "clean", and there's very little "looming over the viewer" going on at all.

Just for you, here's a batch of Markov-chain-generated PYF thread titles!

Who amongst us has not asked WHY WAS TUESDAY?

My favorite underrated matter is plasma. Solid, liquid, and gas keep getting all the attention and it's unfair!

Also, isn't there tasteless wordplay in every thread here?

There were weirder misfires, too. Like when it kept saying the Greek god Apollo’s “eyes were as big as a gopher’s” or that “the moon was truly mother-of-pearl, the white of the sea, rubbed smooth by the groins of drowned brides.”

Or when it exuberantly overextended metaphors: “Alice closed her eyes and sighed, savoring the moment before reality came back crashing down on them like the weight of an elephant sitting on them both while being eaten by a shark in an airplane full of ninjas puking out their eyes and blood for no apparent reason other than that they were ninjas who liked puke so much they couldn’t help themselves from spewing it out of their orifices at every opportunity.”

Anyone tried to cross-pollinate Loab with Crungus? Would the result be too horrifying to even show?

I've been looking for a particular AI story-- there was an image generator, maybe the Photoshop one, that was not supposed to be able to generate copyrighted characters. But it had enough of an inkling of what (for instance) Pikachu looked like that if you asked it for Pikachu, you'd get a sort of abstract Pika-blob. Anyone remember what this was?
