I haven't opened it yet, but my annual book order from NPR's list to burn through gift certificates came in today and the premise of "The Power" is "Teenage girls and women now have immense physical power - with a flick of their fingers, they can cause agonizing pain and even death. And with this small twist of nature, everything changes drastically." Seemed like it might be worth checking out.
