The apocalyptic Kom Susser Tod montage in End of Evangelion, while deservingly Iconic, isn't my favorite scene...I remember one sequence in particular, so vividly, where Gendo jams his upper arm directly through Rei's stomach, and he moves it downwards between her legs before his dead wife rejects him and it gets shorn clean off, spectacular. I'm shocked every time I rewatch it. Or when Misato kisses Shinji, of course the opening and closing moments...that's a film dense with unforgettable scenes.

Hard choice between gas station scene in No Country for Old Men, the scene where that intense battle stops when everyone hears the baby crying in Children of Men, and the final duel in Sanjuro (the warehouse scene where Mifune murks like 30 people in as many seconds was also really cool but not as iconic). Honorable mention to the scene in Magnificent Seven where they get beat but decide to go back for more when Britt says “nobody throws me my own gun and says run. Nobody.” Which maybe isn’t the best per se but it gets me hype like nothing else
