 Yurucamp△ is a ongoing manga series by the mangaka Afro. The series has been licensed as Laid-Back Camp△ by Yen Press, with the first volume being released in February. An anime adaption produced by C-Station is set to air on January 4th on AT-X, Tokyo MX and other stations and will be available through Crunchyroll. Kagamihara Nadeshiko moves to a new town, hears she can see Mt. Fuji from a local campground and sets off to see it on her bicycle, while waiting for clouds to clear she falls asleep until the evening. While stranded she meets Shima Rin, a solo camper who prefers camping in the winter. Spurred by this, Nadeshiko joins her school's outdoors club where she meets Inuyama Aoi and Oogaki Chiaki. Also appearing is Saitou Ena, Rin's friend. It's a fun, laid back series about going camping with friends and experiencing the outdoors. I can't but feel that the PVs don't feel quite as aesthetically pleasing as the manga, but I still can't see a way the overall show is not going to be excellent.

I actually had the good fortune to go to Fuefukigawa Fruit Park just a few weeks ago but the Orchard Cafe was closed for renovations.  Hell of a sad discovery after hiking uphill three kilometers. On the bright side the other restaurant served a killer hamburger and fruits parfait and the view was gorgeous regardless.If there's one anime that would ever justify a pilgrimage it's this one. The author knows all the good spots, for sure.

Yeah, I've only been 'camping' on school trips where it was super structured and had lots of facilities but drat if I'm not tempted to just go off on little solo trips like Rin does. Although I live in Australia so that is probably not the best for a newbie camper.

Ah, this was real good. The opening visuals were pretty neat, helped set this apart from the manga. Will be watching more.

I came expecting cozy, and episode one emphatically delivered. Nice looking show, very relaxing, nice sound design - definitely keeping it on the queue for now.

I was worried about the anime failing to capture the feel of the character designs from the manga - everyone bundled up in layers against the cold while camping - but after watching the first episode I have been proved wrong and it is extremely comfy.

Pretties in tents. Also having read all the published japanese volumes so far it looks like the anime will outstrip the scanlations by about one whole volume, if anyone out there cares. Also there will be dogs. Lots and lots of dogs.

Yurucamp is very much living up to its name. This is that good Iyashikei poo poo. I like Rin a lot, too - definitely relate to her vaguely loner mentality.

Nadeshiko: Not terribly unlike a pigeon Rin and her quiet camping adventures are the best and I love them. That ed is pretty great too

Shimarin and Nadeshiko are both highly relatable, I prefer being alone and now want to go camping based on watching Rin camp. Also the dogs scene was perfect.
