entertainment companies promote the idea that people can watch movies over and over and be entertaineed by them every time, but that really makes no sense with any movie that has substance, it's more appropriate to the jackass / adam sandler / marvel universe set

contrast with hollywood cheese that just aims to tickle you in predictable ways and make you chuckle with yoru bros, not to understand anything about the world, you're not losing anything by watching it often
