Would it be alright for me to post Bad Machinery in here, since it's now syndicated on GoComics? I realise it's also a webcomic (and I tend to keep my posts about the overall comic to that thread), but I'd like to share it if that's permissible.

That said, it has fewer than 1,500 subscribers (as opposed to 25,000 for Nancy or, ahem, 170,000 for Garfield) so there's a bit of self-selection going on.

This is the thread I never knew I needed. Big thanks to everyone here. That said, I haven't seen my nominal guilty pleasure, Darby Conley's antigarf Get Fuzzy. Bucky (the cat), Satchel (the dog), and owner Rob have pretty well-written dialogue spiked with the occasional punch line.

I can't get any of the images over there to load. I don't know what happened. I go back every once in a while to see if images are appearing, but nope. Some day I hope to be able to afford a real laptop and then hopefully I'll be able to post them again, along with my other favorite classics. Until then, this is what you get: This just makes me vaguely remember when (I think) Paul F Tompkins was saying that Jeremy Piven seems like the kind of guy who would bow to you when saying hello in a smarmy faux-spiritual manner. That article about Gilchrist posted:“We don’t have any public comment right now,” said John Glynn, president and editorial director for the strip’s distributor, Andrews McMeel Syndication of Kansas City, Mo. Why? Not that I ever doubted, but we can throw this on the evidence pile that that assistant's allegations were true.
