 I respectfully submit that at least one, if not all of the Least Concealed Bigotry awards ought to be renamed in (dis)honor of the late Bill Leak. It is a fitting epitaph for a man who once (well, not only once) combined blatant racism and bestiality into a single cartoon, prior to sustaining serious brain trauma.

So E seems to be running away with this category, and don't get me wrong, it's also really loving racist, but I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on this cartoon which is literally whitewashing genocide. Branco actually drew a Native American character talking about how the millions of deaths and centuries of broken treaties and forced relocations were all worth it because the white man brought civilization to his savage peoples. He made this cartoon in the year two thousand and seventeen. Holy loving poo poo.

Not only that, it makes a bunch of sweeping generalizations about various Aboriginal cultures and implies they are all the same. It's an incredible mix of ignorance and spite.
