The Least Concealed Bigotry (Racism) in a Cartoon C vs E is really tough - It's tough because McCoy's drawing is just so racist even without any text whereas Branco's isn't super offensive if you get rid of all the words. As a visual medium, you can't just ignore the horrifically offensive drawings. But while McCoy is offering up standard racist fare - suggesting black fathers aren't around because they are that's how black people are. Branco is, as has been noted, using an indigenous person to claim that genocide was literally in their best interest. It's just really hard to take all the factors in and figure out which one is most atrocious.
