Girl side voice actors were Kumiko Watanabe and Kumiko Nishihara, who worked together in Doki Doki Precure. And for an added gag, apparently Nishihara's maiden name was also Watanabe. Boy side were Nobuhiko Okamoto and Atsushi Abe, who have worked together in both A Certain Magical Index and Bakuman.

They're visited by another pair of comedians who are just starting out that give them bento boxes as a welcoming gift. The bento boxes are from a local fixture in Osaka, and it reminds the veteran comedians of when they were starting out and shared lunch from the same place.

It helps if you know the trope of successful manzai comedians growing apart so far apart they can't even stand to share a dressing room anymore, but yeah there wasn't anything really to "get" other than old men rediscover friendship through a shared memory.

Also if you don't mind something way more experimental, their debut work was The World of Golden Eggs, which I've never watched personally but it's a show that would fit pretty well on early oughts' MTV. The joke I got out of it is that it's a mostly-played-straight wistful, observational character piece - like, a feel-good episode of a sitcom, maybe - with a clear narrative arc, focusing on awkward, realistic dialogue and middle-aged characters. (You could compare it to OddTaxi.) It's ridiculous that this is a PopTeamEpic segment. The contrast is silly!
