Man this was an insanely good first episode. I hope they keep it up. It's a bit early to say, but I honestly hope they keep Black Lightning as a separate earth and out of crossovers, because it seems to have a different and better tone than the other superhero shows.

Man this show so far is amazing. It's just so much better than the other superhero shows. I like Peter Gambi ( the tailor) and I also doesn't think we really need a backstory for why he has a Batcave and super hacking skills, but I'm sure we are going to get it. For me, it's enough that he has known Jefferson Pierce since he was 12 and helped him after his father died. Based on the interview I posted, it seems like they are giving him a slightly different backstory, but who knows
