I never watched ReBoot because I was starting my first bout of uni when it came out. But I just found out that a lot of the design came from Brendan McCarthy, which means little unless you're into 80's and 90's British comics. But looking at the character designs, they are very McCarthy. *tapping on Hungry Jacks speaker* Is this even on!?

I also always found it funny how that sounds like a children's educational thing and that's probably the idea.

Thread I think I have a problem. I used “cromulent” in an academic paper at a workshop/colloquium and my allotted hour was like 25% exegesis of “Lisa the Iconoclast”. What I’m saying is, getting a PhD in Ancient Greek can take Simpsons memes to strange, new places.
