let's get some terminology correct for this thread. in Minnesota it is called Hotdish (or Hot dish, or Hot Dish, or whatever, but never casserole) In Minnesota it is called Duck Duck Gray Duck. In Minnesota it is called Pop, not Soda, or Coke, or anything else.

out of 32 teams only 12 are allowed into the playoffs. Even though they almost lost tonight, you can't deny that they're having a better season than the majority of NFL teams.

When I was little, despite being an Eagles fan, my neighbors who didn't know sports gave me an oil on canvas painting of Fran Tarkenton. It said "The Scrambler" on it. Now that I think about it they had no reason to give me a gift in the first place so maybe they got it for free or something. Anyway I hung that poo poo up and have always had a soft spot for the Vikings. Also, Randall Cunningham had that great year there. They are a cool team and I think I'd root for them over any other team in the NFC (other than the Eagles).

If the game goes the way it’s likely to, I will be happy to see the Vikes in the Super Bowl. (Go Eagles)

It would be very cool if the Vikings won the Superbowl because from what I've read and seen they had some really, really good teams (in different eras even) and still never won it, so I guess they deserve it.

When I was a young Eagles fan a distant second cousin came to visit and wanted to bring me a present. She knew I liked football and had a favorite team but she didn’t know who they were only that their colors were green. For some reason she didn’t ask my parents for clarification so for years I played with my Jets football and had a brief obsession with Joe Namath. I feel nothing about them now. I was also a Packers fan for a while because my grandfather gave me his Bart Starr branded football.
