Also, it seems like the people predicting and wishing the hardest for some kind of balkanization of the US are people who live in countries that have already done it, just like how your divorced friends are always seizing on every little argument people have with their spouses as proof of an imminent divorce. Again, i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it in the US because most non-sad brained people realize they have too much to lose to rock the boat too hard.
