When in doubt, err on the side of Awesome!

I have a few pics from last year's Gen Con
Gary Gygax's sand table. Gary decided that some creatures should take longer to cross from one side of this thing to the other and that's why, to this day, your dwarf only moves 20 feet per round.

A bunch of original gaming stuff!

Prototype of the boardgame Dungeon.

Dave Arneson's ping pong table where he invented the modern RPG.

Stuff from the earliest Gen Cons

A recreation of the Lake Geneva Horticultural Hall where the first Gen Con took place.

A perfect RPGdotJPEG for you.

Dave from Monkeyfun Studios showing off Gruel Truck.

There's India Garden, which is maybe twice as far as Haveli's was. And a placed called Spice Box in the City Market.

Spice Box is fantastic.
It used to be better when they still had their food truck and I didn't have to go to the city market but it's still good food.

I didn't feel like dragging my recording equipment from the Embassy Suites to just outside of the Indianapolis city limits so my friends and I aren't potting on our regular seminar this year.

We're also not at all popular so nothing of real value was lost.

Does anyone have any suggestions for new RPGs to pick up this year?

81,306 steps. 27.46 miles. My feet hurt so, so much.
Got to play in two CoC games this year!
The best game we got in the VIG swag bag was Farlight. It's super fun!
It seems like every booth selling metal dice or those Hex-shaped dice vaults appear to be ordering from the same vendor on Alibaba so I'll have to track the source down.
The SJ Games/Adventure Retail booth didn't have any GURPS books. Truly a sad day for the game. (They had the fantasy box.)
Lots of cool stuff in the dealer hall. I bought over a hundred bucks worth of nerd shirts.
All of the cosplay I saw this year was fantastic!

The weirdest goddamn thing was running into a listener of my podcast from Australia at Gen Con 2014 completely at random.

Like, statistically that shouldn't have happened because Underdiscussion only has like 100 listeners.
