I have an older brother with high-functioning autism. He's actually very social, loves music, is terrible at math*, so he's kind of the opposite of the autism stereotype. He hits himself a lot, especially when he gets stressed :(

*As in, has problems adding and subtracting

My brother has always identified as high functioning so I didn't really think of the problems with that kind of labeling
